关于我们ABOUT US

Bodegas Aragonesas was founded in 1984, but as early as 1145 the Cistercian monks of the Veruella Monastery planted grapes here.

Our ancestors have inherited this precious historical heritage, and for centuries we have been carefully planting this grape and maintaining a meticulous vineyard tradition.

Our vineyard

This vineyard is an invaluable legacy for our ancestors, especially the Garnacha vines, which may be unique in the world in terms of age and quality. We have carefully modified and maintained the vineyard so that Bodegas Aragonesas can produce the best Garnacha wines on the market.

The winery is located in Borja, one of the legal wine regions in Aragon, Spain. To date, our vineyards cover an area of 3,700 hectares. The quality and climate of the land itself provide an environment for our varieties (Gehina, Chardonnay, Tanjung, Cabernet Sauvignon, etc.).

Grenache-based red wines have a rich black fruit aroma, and due to the unique brown calcareous soil and iron-rich clay, the wines are also mineral-like. Borghese's Grenache wine is considered one of the best Grenache wines in Spain.

The main red grape varieties of the winery are Garnacha, Tempranillo, Sauvignon, and Syrah. The main white grape varieties are Macabeo, Moscatel and Chardonnay.

With its superior geographical environment and meticulous planting, our grapes have been alive and well on this land for hundreds of years, providing a high quality winemaking material for the winery.
